Originally from Kilkenny, Freda moved to Kerry in 2018 after working in mixed and equine practice for 5 years in the UK. Since moving back to Ireland, she has worked in a number of small animal practices and joined Mc Grath Vets in January 2024. Freda divides her time between clinical work and lecturing on the Veterinary Nursing and Bioscience courses at MTU Kerry. In her spare time, she enjoys the great outdoors, in particular hiking, horse riding and open water swimming.
